Our Commercial Terms and Conditions
A Commercial Context - Our primary focus is value, impact, and achieving the client’s goals. Our commercial approach to engagement is designed to be as straightforward as possible.
Group Partners is a small team built to augment and support clients by forming a mutually beneficial relationship throughout an assignment.
Our clients usually follow standard commercial frameworks and agreements, which we are happy to follow as long as they do not impose unfair or excessive risk on us as a small practice.
Our approach is tailored to each assignment and is unique. Therefore, the spirit and sentiment are not typically written into standard T’s and C’s intended for larger enterprises and traditional processes.
Payment Terms - Our payment terms are subject to mutual agreement based on achieving certain milestones.
The milestones and related payments are discussed and agreed upon in each case.
These schedules and agreements will be displayed in the Fees Table in the Project Scope section of the agreement we share before commencing any work.
Our payment terms are receipt of funds within 30 days of the invoice date.
Cancellation and Change - In the unusual event of cancellation of the programme post the agreement to proceed:
Any genuine costs incurred to that point will be subject to invoice. We will provide breakdowns and written explanations of the stage we are at.
Changes to session dates — it happens. In the case of a postponement, there will be no additional charge.
Suppose the session date is more than 6 weeks after the previous date, and conditions or criteria change. In that case, we will assess cost implications and discuss any necessary budget implications before confirming changes.
If the scope of a fixed cost engagement changes materially, we will discuss the budget implications and either revisit or reduce the scope accordingly.
NO SURPRISES
We will notify you immediately if any reason arises that requires an amendment to this scope of work.
We will not impose change control or additional costs on this project unless we have jointly agreed that new information dictates a change of approach. We will adapt the project to meet new dynamics wherever possible without incurring additional costs.
